This session is for gymnasts who may be getting extra nerves before competitions or in front of crowds. This session is especially helpful during competition or before important meets. Gymnasts will talk through what their nerves feel like to them and will learn strategies for relieving some of the stress of competition (like breathing techniques and progressive muscle relaxation) and changing the viewing of competition from scary to fun!
Kylee Ault is our mental performance coach with her master’s degree in sport psychology, and is working on her PhD in sport psychology. She is also a former gymnast!
